First Niagara – Business Online Banking

 

Project Overview

This American bank wanted to streamline its online user experience to boost customer satisfaction within its business banking segment. The project consisted of three phases; public pages, new toolbar sign-in process, and private signed-in online banking.

 

 

Public Business Banking Website and Custom Toolbar

This phase of the project involved creating new landing pages that would better speak to their clients who were purely interested in online banking as it applied to their daily job criteria. A custom toolbar was also designed to help make clients’ lives easier by grouping all necessary business banking tools together in one permanently available layer on the left, keeping all resources at their fingertips.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Business Banking Content Management System Skin

Once phases one and two were complete, the CMS needed to be customized and skinned; everything from font faces and sizes, to table alignments and icon design. The CMS contained about 22 unique page templates that needed to be mocked up for the development team. A style guide was created afterwards to ensure the developers had a pixel-perfect understanding of the layout and its contents.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Business Banking Mobile App

Lastly, the mobile and tablet apps needed to be skinned. With a very different set of universally functioning elements, an entirely new visual look was required not only for the mobile medium, but also cross platform functionality.
